Tibor Fischl, CEO
Goji Farm USA is the brainchild of Tibor Fischl of Santa Rosa, California. Driven by the vision of creating innovative, efficient farming practices to address the unsettling global food shortage forecasts, Fischl began his search for the ideal crop with which to introduce his ideas to the agricultural world. This star would perform within the Sonoma County seasonal weather patterns while providing a compelling nutrient profile. After careful research, Fischl elected Lycium Barbarum, or the Goji berry (aka Wolf berry) to develop and prove his integrative model for food production. Jay Jensen, CFO
The search for the ideal grow site for Goji Farm USA resulted in a partnership with Jay Jensen, CEO of Novavine in Santa Rosa. Novavine, famous for their high-end specialty grape vine grafting and propagation methods, is an established specialty greenhouse growing operation. Jensen, CEO of Novavine, was intrigued with Fischl's innovative work and found a partnership practical, as grapevine grafting is seasonal and allows him to utilize resources and down-time for experimenting in the alternate-season cycle. Jay manages the propagation of all of our Goji starts.

Arthur J. den Hoed, COO
Art den Hoed farms is based in the Yakima Valley of southeastern Washington State. He grows 13 varieties of apples, including several club varieties, five types of cherries, and 22 varieties of wine grapes for 20 different processors, warehouses, and wineries of all sizes. Art is a Washington State Farm Bureau member, a board member of Washington State Grape Society, and a nominating delegate for the National Grape Co-op. He manages our crops in Grandview, WA, and will help Goji Farm USA expand beyond our California locations and into additional markets.
Our History At A Glance
2012
Tibor Fischl begins studying the availability of nutritional super-foods and determines that Lycium Barbarum, or Goji, is one of the most nutrient-dense foods ever discovered.
2013
Fischl purchases authentic Goji tree groves and develops his Lycium Barbarum propagation methods.
2014
Jay Jensen, CEO of Novavine, joins Goji Farm USA and begins propagating authentic Lycium Barbarum to perfect specifications that optimize their nutritional values.
2015
Goji Farm USA attains Certified Organic status and produces a premium performance beverage named Goji Phyto Brew. We secure the Whole Foods Market account, and distribution begins throughout the Bay Area.
2016
Our proprietary Goji Phyto-Brew beverage is reformulated, and distribution is expanded throughout Northern California. Goji Phyto-Brew is sold at nutritional grocery outlets, including Oliver’s Market, Whole Foods Market, and other high-end stores.
2017
Goji Farm USA establishes proof of concept by successfully producing and selling Goj Phyto-Brew throughout the high-end nutritional food outlets and securing a market share in Northern California.
2018
Goji Farm USA develops new farming methods for organic Goji fruit and Goji leaf. We conduct scientific testing on our harvest to verify nutritional and antioxidant values, with tremendous results!
2019
Goji Farm USA expands operations to produce a significant volume of Goji plant starts for domestic farm sites.
2020
Goji Farm USA enters into negotiations with Arthur J. den Hoed Inc, a preeminent leader in American agriculture.
2021
Arthur J. den Hoed partners with Goji Farm USA, and our presence expands into Washington State. We plant thousands of Goji trees at his farms, all of which were propagated at our headquarters in Sonoma, California. Additionally, Goji Farm USA applies for OU Kosher Certification.
2022
Goji Farm USA is granted OU (Orthodox Union) Kosher Certification.
2023
Goji Farm USA becomes the exclusive supplier for GojiLIFE retail product lines and increases crop production in preperation for an assortment of new products to launch the following year.
2024
GojiLIFE launches their Goji Berry Tinctures, Freeze Dried Whole Goji Berries, and Fresh Frozen Goji Berries in partnership with Wawona Foods. Crafted exclusively using American Grown, OU-Kosher berries from Goji Farm USA.
